A beautiful turquoise example here! This one looks unused with the indented fiesta mark on the base. I did spot a very small (less than 1/16") flake in the white unglazed rim of the lid, pictured in the photo on the right. Did this happen during production or in later use? I cannot tell. |

Here is another turquoise casserole in beautiful condition. There is a flaw on this piece to mention however. While the base was being produced and before it was glazed and fired, one corner of a handle was chipped; this chip is completely glazed over and a detail photo is included above right. Other than this, I can find no other chips, cracks or scratches. |

I can find no chips, cracks or scratches on this beautiful piece. The smooth, satiny ivory glaze is pure and clean with none of the grey utensil marks commonly seen on used ivory pieces. On the outside rim of the lid, as I run my fingernail around it, I can feel one tiny rough spot but I cannot see it. I believe the spot is a tiny glaze imperfection. |
