Vintage Fiesta 15" Chop Plates

Yellow - $48.00
Rose - $101.25

15 inch chop plate, yellow 15 inch chop plate, green

Fifteen-inch chop plates are actually a little over 14 inches in diameter and were produced in all of the original and 50's colors. While they are generally marked with an ink stamp on the back (GENUINE / fiesta / HLCO USA), they are also commonly found unmarked. I love these guys - they produce a BIG impact and are relatively inexpensive compared to other large vintage Fiesta pieces.

The yellow chop plate, pictured above has scattered light use scratches but no chips, cracks or crazing. There are 2 tiny light grey spots, each a little less than 1/8 inch in diameter, close together in one area of the plating surface, but I could not get a clear photo of these

The rose chop plate is just about perfect and pictures of it will appear here soon.

Decaled Examples, Not for Sale

These have also, rarely, been found in ivory with various decals. Here's the table getting all dressed up for Thanksgiving with a 15" turkey-decaled chop plate front and center. I've also seen luncheon plates with the same decal and maroon ring but, of course, the design is on a smaller scale.
