Halloween Night / Dia de Los Muertos
New Fiesta, Originally Exclusive to the Betty Crocker Catalog
For the sheer delight of being alive and for being whoever or whatever you want to be for only one night, Halloween is THE time to celebrate with friends, family, little kids and/or creatures that you may find wandering down your street. The next day, Dia de los Muertos, is decorated with spooky skeletons and ghosts as we remember and honor our dead. These decaled Fiestaware dishes are exclusive to Betty Crocker's catalog, and the catalog is no longer in business - their website told me that the last day they would accept catalog orders was 12-15-06. I knew that once their stock was gone I would not be able to find Halloween Night anymore, so I bought a bunch and have some to share here. As of 8/15/06, all of Betty's stock of Halloween Night was listed as being on backorder, and I received a note from them saying that they could not replace any items broken in shipment because they were sold out and the decal had been discontinued. All of these dishes below are factory firsts and have not been used. I just pulled them out of their boxes for pictures. |
