These pieces are both in fine condition with no chips or cracks; they are a pale yellow color, most similar to the pale yellow Fiesta that HLC produced from 1987 to 2002. The orange and black lines are crisp and unworn. The color on the orange-painted handle is a little uneven and is not as shiny as the rest of the piece, almost a semi-matte. This does not appear to be wear but original to the piece. |

The base of the sauceboat is stamped G 8 N while the underplate is stamped H 8 N. Apparently, these two pieces were produced in July and August of 1938. |
