This little guy has been hard to find. He is an unglazed, bisque creamer (or toothpick holder) made to honor the 150th anniversary of George Washinton's inauguration as first president of the United States. He is only 1 7/8" tall! Most of these George Washinton creamers are almost 5" tall and generally were glazed in ivory. Occasionally, an ivory-glazed George is found, the same size as the one photographed above, but the unglaze version is quite rare. This George is mint and was obviously made in 1939. $86.00 | |||
